The SwiftStart® metric starter shingle is specially designed for use with CertainTeed Landmark® Series shingles. It’s more cost-effective than cutting expensive field shingles for starters. SwiftStart is code compliant, features precision sealant for adequate sealing at the eaves and can be used in all metric shingles similar to Landmark.
High-Performance Starter
High-Performance Starter is designed for use with Grand Manor® and Highland Slate® shingles. It’s the only approved alternative to using the shingles themselves. This line meets the accessory requirements for the Integrity Roof System®, which includes underlayments, shingles, accessory products and ventilation. The Integrity Roof System is made for optimum performance, even in the worst weather conditions. Proper application is essential to the roof’s warranty and performance. Presidential® Starter
Presidential® Starter is a requirement for the application of Presidential Shake TL and Presidential Shake. It also passes as a starter for Arcadia Shake® shingle application. Like High-Performance Starter, it meets the accessory requirements for the Integrity Roof System.
